Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of arts. After working as a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world after only three films. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different times.
