Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn prompted her to spend months developing an approach that does not, however, paint the chosen object on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a reproduction of itself in which the painting transforms into the medium for it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are alive or perishable like people or fruit. Her ephemeral painting style is evident and what remains in Alexa Meade's work is the photographs. Painting and photography are closely coordinated to create two-dimensional flat surface which is trompe-l'oeil. In certain places, the third dimensions can be observed, such as near the eye or the hair. Meade frequently incorporates her painted figures into the 3-dimensional world around her. They are able to interact with the world she has created for herself. This eliminates the distinctions between painting, photography and installation.
