Summer glau

Firefly was Whedon's next success and she must have really created a buzz. Her character, River Tam, was one of the most complex characters that Glau did her best to manage. The character of Summer Glau, Tam was forced to sit for government exams in order to prepare her for the role of the ideal assassin. As a result, the ability of Tam to manage her mood was stripped from her. Glau had the opportunity to showcase not just her acting abilities but also her combat skills as a character in Firefly. The training she received as an assassin gave her an opportunity to make use of the full range of athletic skills she has. Summer Glau was classically-trained as ballerina. Summer Glau's dance skills encompass tango, flamenco and many other styles. A fractured toe cut off her career. Firefly was only on for one year but gained an ardent following. Whedon was so enthralled by the show that he decided to return back to the show several years afterwards. Summer Glau, however, continued to receive quality work. Summer Glau appeared in TV series including Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
