Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a reporter for broadcast in the United States. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She also was co-anchor for the morning program of CNN, New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage from 2012. Her previous experience includes working as a Washington DC based correspondent, covering each of the US House and Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle and events such as the discussions to raise the credit limit for federal government or the deliberations of the super committee. She also was a general assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. Then she became an CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. As a national correspondent she covered breaking news and feature news for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
